Kanchana has a marketing degree and is still looking for a career in that field, but in the meantime she works at Thai Place with co-workers who have become her family and friends. "My good friends work here. We party together and go out to eat. It feels like family." She likes Kansas City because it's easy to get around and there's no traffic but wishes there were more festivals to attract visitors and make it more fun.
